Tiger runs towards the cat to eat the cat but suddenly he remembers they are family
Chapter 1
The Big Cozy Hug
Once upon a time, the glowing sun went to sleep, and the quiet moon came up.
Little Pip the Cat walked softly through the tall green grass.
Behind a big bush, Toby the Tiger was watching. Toby had a very hungry tummy. He wanted a late-night snack!
Toby ran as fast as his big paws could go. *Stomp, stomp, stomp!*
Little Pip turned around and made a sweet, quiet meow.
Toby jumped up, but then he stopped right in his tracks.
Toby looked at Pip's tiny pink nose. He looked at Pip's soft whiskers. Then, he saw Pip's beautiful stripes!
"Wait a minute," whispered Toby. "You have stripes like me! You have sharp claws like me!"
Suddenly, Toby remembered what his mother had taught him long ago. Cats and tigers belong to the very same big, happy family!
"You are my tiny cousin!" Toby said with a happy grin.
Pip purred sweetly and rubbed his soft cheek against Toby's big fuzzy paw. Toby did not want to eat a friend. He wanted to give his little cousin a big hug!
Toby lay down in the soft grass and wrapped his fluffy tail around little Pip.
Together, the big tiger and the small cat closed their eyes and snuggled under the starry sky, ready for sweet dreams.
