Traders

Pip and Pop were two little foxes. They loved to trade! But they were sneaky foxes. Benny Bear had a big, shiny red apple. "Look!" said Pip. "A magic flying leaf!" Benny Bear wanted the magic leaf. He gave Pip his red apple. Pip and Pop ran away. "We tricked him!" laughed Pip. Oh dear, that was not nice!

Suki the clever squirrel saw the foxes. She saw the tricky trade. Suki wanted to teach them a lesson! Suki held up a big soapy bubble. It sparkled in the sun! Pip saw the shiny bubble. "Ooh!" Pop wanted the shiny bubble too. "We want to trade with you!" said Pop.

Pip gave Suki the red apple. Pop gave Suki his blue party hat. "Here is your magic shiny rock!" chuckled Suki. Pip and Pop grabbed the shiny rock. *POP!* went the rock! It was just a soapy bubble! It popped into tiny water drops! "Oh no!" cried Pip. Their magic rock was gone!

Pip had no apple. Pop had no hat. Tricking was no fun when it happened to them! Suki gave Benny Bear his red apple back. Benny was happy again! "Tricking friends is bad," said Pip. Pip and Pop shared their sweet berries with everyone. Trading fair is much better!
