Alhikulaaai dhelikolhu

Once upon a time, there were two little friends. Ashy was a soft grey bit of ash. Coal was a shiny black piece of charcoal. They lived together in a cozy warm house. Ashy loved to swirl softly. Coal loved to roll gently. "I love you, my friend!" said Ashy. "I love you too!" said Coal. They were the happiest little friends.

It was time to play! Ashy made a light grey cloud. Coal rolled like a little ball. Roll, roll, roll! "Look at me!" said Coal. Ashy danced round and round. "You are so silly!" said Ashy. They giggled and tumbled on the soft blanket. What fun they had together!

Soon, the sun went down. The dark night came. The big yellow moon shone bright in the sky. "Look at the shiny moon!" said Ashy. Coal gave a small yawn. "It is night time," whispered Coal. The cozy room grew soft and quiet. Stars twinkled high above.

Ashy and Coal pulled up a tiny soft blanket. They lay side by side in their warm little bed. "Goodnight, Coal," whispered Ashy softly. "Goodnight, Ashy," said Coal. They closed their eyes. Soft dreams filled the quiet night. Goodnight, little ash and charcoal.
